I’m Susan Hope Breckenridge, and my passion is creating art that transforms environments into spaces where people feel comfortable, inspired, and alive. Bold, layered works rich in color, texture, collage, gold leaf, and combined with fabrics, found objects, and three-dimensional elements are the result of my intuitive approach. Drawn to shiny objects and the stories hidden beneath first impressions, I  incorporate symbolism, fragments of nature, and recycled pieces into work that is both thoughtful and unexpected. I like to combine seemingly unrelated elements together with curiosity, depth, and often a touch of whimsy—creating art that rewards a closer look and celebrates the beauty of surprise.

 

When I’m not creating, I’m thoughtfully curating from women artisans and uplifting women entrepreneurs with every choice I make.
